About Pentacles Studio
One-on-one tarot readings, by video online or in person in Taipei.

What the name means
I like the pentagram as a symbol, and I like the suit of Pentacles in tarot. Both make me think of the things we actually deal with every day: work, money, relationships, and how we want to live.
PENTACLES is the tarot suit also known as Coins. The Chinese name 五芒星航 adds 航, "to sail", which is about finding your direction. When you can't decide which way to go, I hope this is a place where you can say it out loud and we look at it together.
I have had my own times of not knowing what to do. Tarot gave me a way to look again at things I couldn't think through. So when I read for someone, I explain myself plainly: why I read a card this way, and what it has to do with your situation. By the end, you'll know what you can start with next.
When we meet, I'll ask you about what has been happening lately: what you can't let go of, and what choices you have right now. You don't need to have it sorted out. Start wherever you like and I'll follow with questions.
If you want to ask something, just ask.
How I read
Clients have asked me, "Are you psychic?" Others have told me they felt much lighter afterwards. I'm grateful for that. Still, during a reading I want to hear more from you: how do you see this? After hearing my reading, is there anything you want to check?
I start by listening
We talk about what you want to ask first. You don't need to know how to phrase it when you sit down.
I explain why I read it that way
I look at each card's position and the cards around it, and tell you how I'm understanding them.
You can disagree
A reading is my view. If it doesn't match your situation, or you don't agree, just tell me.
Plain language
I explain the cards through your question. Ask whenever something is unclear. Interrupting me is fine.
A recap at the end
Before we finish, we go over what we covered and whether anything is still unclear. Whether you take any suggestion is up to you, and you can think it over at home.
“An open exploration of my questions, a calm and easy deep search. The reader offers tarot with a passion that has never faded, and gives very practical strategies. Recommended~”
The cards I use
- Tarot: mainly the Rider-Waite deck, sometimes others such as the Visconti-Sforza, with upright and reversed cards. Quick guide to all 78 cards
- Oracle cards: Wisdom of the Oracle, with one card added as a reminder when it helps.
- Playing cards: sometimes used alongside tarot for the monthly forecasts.
What I don't do
- I don't sell fear, and I don't sell remedies or curse removal.
- I don't make decisions for you.
- I don't pry into the private life of a third person who isn't part of your question.
- You can message me to ask about the services. If you want a reading, please book a separate time.
- For medical, legal, financial or mental health crises, please see a professional. In Taiwan you can call the 1925 mental health support line.
Besides one-on-one readings
- Monthly forecasts
- At the start of each month I post a collective forecast and forecasts for the twelve signs on Threads (in Chinese). The collective forecast is also collected in the notes.
- Written and business readings
- Written readings (Deep Focus, Vision Compass, Year Ahead) and a brand health check for businesses. Written readings are available in English. See plans and prices
- Free tools
- 78 Types, the tarot study room and online card draws.
If it's your first time and you're not sure how long to book, start with 30 minutes.
About the images
The classic tarot and cat tarot photos are the studio's own photos of its cards, with retouched backgrounds. The star chart and card back on the home page are vector graphics. The oil-painting style illustrations on this site, including the still lifes and sea charts on various pages, are brand images made with AI (such as Google Gemini). They are not historical paintings, and they don't show the studio or a real reading. The compass and the ship at sea are animations drawn in code. Card illustrations use the Rider–Waite–Smith deck (1909).
