How to read the monthly tarot horoscope: start with the parts that apply to you

I look at the month's astrology and draw cards for each of the twelve signs. Forecasts go up on Threads early each month (in Chinese); the collective one is here.

How is it written?

I start with the month's astrological background, then draw a theme card for each sign, plus cards for love, career, money and so on, and write it all up. Each piece has the month's main points and things to watch for.

Check how things are first, then read the advice

People with the same sign can have very different lives. First see whether what's described is something you're going through. Skip the parts that don't fit, and don't change an important decision because of one line in a horoscope.

Read it once at the start of the month, then look back mid-month or at the end. Note what fit and what didn't, instead of keeping only the parts that came true.

Sun sign or rising sign?

My suggestion is to read for your rising sign first and your sun sign second. I often describe it as eighty and twenty percent, which is a weighting, not an accuracy rate. If you're not sure of your rising sign, see this guide to looking it up.

How is it different from a one-on-one reading?

A monthly forecast is for everyone with the same sign. A one-on-one reading starts with what's been happening to you, draws cards for your question, and lets you keep asking. To see how one-on-one readings work, go to readings and prices.

Where can I find updates?

Posted at the start of each month on Threads (in Chinese). The collective forecast is collected in monthly forecasts.
